New DCPD preamp and related things in HAM6

I placed the new DCPD preamp (D2000592 enclosed in D2000246) in HAM6 just to see if we have space and how the cables could be routed.

Picture 1 -> before the work, seen from -X door on HAM6. One balance mass is occupying where the preamp would go.

Picture 2 -> after placing the assembly on the ISI roughly in place (yellow).  Moved one balance mass out of the way, left it on the ISI without fixing.

I had to rotate the assembly 180 degrees relative to the drawing (D2100727-v1), otherwise it would be hard to connect/disconnect DB9 while the preamp is fixed to the ISI.

After taking the picture I moved the preamp  in +Y direction by 1 screw hole spacing so that at least the position of the preamp agrees with the drawing, but I won't "fix" the rotation.

Green in the picture shows the location of the old preamps and the cable bracket CB-1 on the OMCS cage.

DB9-DB9 cable (D1300369) was fitted with the cable bracket adapter for DB9 (D2100721) and eventually it will go to the CB1. The other end was connected to the preamp.

Two SMA cables (D2100712) are also connected to the preamp.

Picture 3 -> This cable assembly (ASSY-D2100599-001) will replace the old pair of MightyMouse-MicroD cables, the old pair of preamps and the old 2xMicroD-1xDB25 cable (again see green in picture 2).

DB9 of this cable goes to CB1 on the OMCS cage to mate with the DB9-DB9 coming from the preamp. The other end (two mighty mouse connectors) will go to the bracket on the OMC breadboard itself to connect to the DCPDs. And the strange bracket thing (D1201501)  will be in place of the old preamp so the 2xMM-DB9 cables are kept in the same positions as the old pair of MM-MicroD cables.

Existing DB25-DB25 between the feedthrough and the CB1 on top of OMCS cage will then be used to connect the new preamp to the feedthrough.

Anyway that's the idea.

Picture 4, 5 -> DB9 and DB25 male connectors on the preamp enclosure came with aluminum foil stuck between the pin rows. I used tweesers to remove them.

One thing to note. I don't know which SMA is PD1 or PD2. Not a huge deal but it's nice to know before connecting them to the feedthrough.

Dean confirmed that, in the third picture in the previous post, "J1 (PhotoDiode 1 as per D2000592) is on the left, and J2 (PhotoDiode 2) is on the right".

Installed the new OMC DCPD Whitening Chassis Assembly, D2100631, in ISC-R5.

I meant to write "in the second picture".

Also, though I didn't see the assembly serial number of the preamp, it's ASSY-D2000246-S2100832.
