TCS CO2Y chiller swapped back into nominal position

WP#10169. Austin Jennings, Camilla Compton. 11am-12noon

Today we swapped the spare CO2 chiller (S/N 813) with the TCSY chiller (S/N 617).  The TCSY chiller is functioning great as expected.  This was undoing what we did in alog 60792 where we tested the spare chiller was fully functioning.
Steps taken:

  1. Wiped inside of TCSY chiller with non-lifting cloths, checked it looked clean and dry. Mesh and bag filters looked fine. No need to flush as it was stored less than 90 days.
  2. Turned off and unplugged TCS spare chiller (was running CO2Y lines 11/30/2021 - 10/18/2022).
  3. Disconnected TCS CO2Y hose quick connects to remove the chiller from the water system- note on the chiller side these aren’t dry breaks so we used out shorting hose to stop the chiller leaking.
  4. Connected outlet of TCSY  chiller to water line, filled reservoir and connected inlet to water line.
  5. Plugged in, turned on chiller and returned settings to the nominal RS232 setting for MEDM control. [Menu > Settings > Serial Communications > Serial type > RS232]
  6. Had TJ check the chiller could be turned off/on via medm.
  7. Drained spare chiller (~ 2 gallons) and used wet vac*. Have left drain and inlet values open, but will close at the end of the week.

* We used a wall power outlet from the floor and an extension cord to power the wet vac. TJ warned us you can trip off  the HEPI pumps by using the power outlet they are connected to on the mezzanine.
