Rahul and Betsy moved ZM3 8mm towards the HR surface yesterday afternoon (they moved it 8.5mm yesterday afternoon, and moved it back by 0.5mm this morning). We then started to realign the beam through the VIP. We were able to use sliders initially to get the beam back through the VIP and I adjusted the periscope mirrors to get the beam diverter reflection onto the PD. We didn't check the centering on FC1 when we did this alignment.
Georgia made a template for the unclipping alignment that she keeps doing, it is in userapps sqz/h1/Templates/ndscope/dither_zm2_align_clf_trig.yml
This afternoon Rahul and I went back to the chamber and attempted to offload the sliders on ZM3 to mechanical adjustment since we were using up most of the range on the sliders. We had some confusion because of EQ stops rubbing while we were doing this, while we were confused by the EQ stops we moved ZM3 in yaw. We also noticed that the beam was very off center on FC1. Once ZM3 was free of EQ stops, we were able to see that we could use negative yaw on both ZM2 and ZM3 sliders to bring the beam closer to being centered on FC1 and retro-reflected towards ZM2. We decided to leave the mechanical adjustment for tomorow morning.
