Sheila and Jeff noticed last week that we seem to no longer have the SPOT and MECH separated angle-to-length decoupling functionality in our ETM L2 stages.
To get around this for now, some lines referring to these have been commented out of the guardian. We will need to put them back in as soon as we restore these channels. If we're locking at MOVE_SPOTS before next Tuesday, we'll also need to put the spot position setting angle to length gains in place in guardian temporarily, and then also remember to undo that.
It looks like the revert happened around 31 Aug 2021, as part of alog 59772. Looking at the difference between svn commits for h1susetmx, line 2569 indicates that the model was changed to go back to using the QUAD library part from the .../sus/common/models/QUAD_MASTER.mdl directory, rather than what we had been using of .../sus/h1/models/QUAD_MASTER_H1.mdl .
I have not yet thoroughly grok-ed Jeff's thorough alog from August 2021, and since I don't want to lose functionality that he added that day, I don't want to just do a naiive revert. I hope that we'll have time to look more carefully at this over the next few days, and be ready to implement a fix that keeps all of the new functions by next Tuesday.
