[Sheila, Craig, Elenna]
Today I took some single bounce scans at 10, 50 and 60W input power to test the alignment from the IMC at high power. Reminder that Craig and I looked into how much power the OMC DCPDs can take in this alog to confirm this was a safe thing to do.
For the first three scans at those powers, I aligned ITMX with other test masses misaligned. For the second three I misaligned ITMX and aligned ITMY. This way we can check the mode matching from the two arms.
For all scans, the RF9 mod depth was set at 23 dBm and RF45 was set at 26.8 dBm. Duration of each scan is 100 s. The template for the scan is saved in userapps omc/h1/templates/OMC_scan_single_bounce.xml
Scan | GPS Time | Input Power (W) | ITM |
1 | 1335042470 | 10 | X |
2 | 1335042817 | 50 | X |
3 | 1335043112 | 60 | X |
4 | 1335043978 | 10 | Y |
5 | 1335044281 | 50 | Y |
6 | 1335044788 | 60 | Y |
At 60W, we expected to see a DCPD sum of about 80 mA. However, we only measured 70 mA. I trended the DCPD_INMON back to one of the 60W scan times and saw that we are saturating the ADC (photo).
