Logbook server OS upgraded

The LHO aLOG service was moved to an upgraded operating system this morning at approximately 6AM Pacific. No aLOG application changes were made. There was an approximately 5 minute long outage while the data was transferred.

We would like to remind the general reader that robotic entries can be filtered by using the "exclude robot entries" button in the search window.

Note that robotic entries which have non-robotic comments will not be filtered.

Tags added to LHO and LLO aLOGs

'OpsInfo' and 'Lockloss' tags have been added to the LHO and LLO aLOGs. CDS Bugzilla 941 for reference.

Livingston aLOG to be moved to new server during Tuesday maintenance

Restarting aLOG webserver at 9:45 am pacific

I need to apply a patch to the system outside of the normal patch cycle.

Please save your reports prior to 9:45 am pacific (about 10 minutes).  This will be quick, the system is not being restarted, just the webserver.

aLOG maintenance completed

The aLOG maintenance has been completed.

Changes:

updated OS on the aLOG box
added support for searching on instrinsic characteristics of a log entry.
- Does the entry (or its comments) have attachments
- Does the entry (or its comments) have inline images
- Is the entry a robo post
Fixed some problems with upload file names
Fixed an issue which would limit the files that the chrome browser could upload
Expanded the system to support comments pushing a log entry to the top of the logbook.
- This is currently disabled pending a discussion on the nature of the aLOG, logbook vs threaded reader
