AS_C whitening had been turned off a few months ago for violin mode damping and it is now re-engaged (see attachment). The optical signal is at least 20 dB above the ADC noise limit (about 0.01 ct/rtHz) at all frequencies. The input filter modules contain calibration into milliwatts, but the resulting shot noise level does not quite hang together (observed noise seems a factor of a few higher than the expectation from shot noise).
