We made a temporary script, C:SlowControls Target H1ECATC1 PLC1 opcIocShells_startWithoutTiming.ps1

(for whatever reason, as soon as I try to post this the backslashes disappear, so I've put spaces where there should be a backslash)
 
that starts only some of the opcIoc shells for PLC1 (most timing channels are not started)  it starts:

PLC1.in.001.db
PLC1.in.012.db
PLC1.in.013.db
PLC1.in.014.db
PLC1.io.001.db 
PLC1.io.002.db

If we use the installation scripts to update, compile and active and run both PLCs, then select only PLC2 to use the restart database script, then go to the target area and run this power shell script, we should be able to use both the picomotors and everything on PLC2 (IMC common mode board, ect) without being extremely slow.
