Checked CO2X FLIR after power hop, nothing interesting.

After we saw the CO2X laser power drop from 48W to 35W on Tuesday alog 67655 and 67302 (SN 20706-21015D), I looked at the shape of the beam on the FLIR with 1.8W in. It looked normal and uniform, see attached. We are planning to swap this laser with the refurbished spare in the next few months.

Suggestions to get back to 48W from the laser company:

  1. Check current draw on the 4 DC supply cables, maybe one channel isn't working. There is two sets of cables out of each RF driver so maybe we can measure the current draw. Will look into.
  2. Scan the full piezo voltage 0-100V, may find both 35W and 48W spikes. We think we have one this. The guardian scans from 3.5V to 75V and we attempted lots of temperature steps in alog67679 so think we have tried this.
  3. Could have a bad RF cable. Swap the set of 4 RF cables to a spare set. Or remove cables and check continuity over them which they are slightly bent eta.  We don't currently have any spare cables (Jason has ordered some). We plan to try the CO2Y cables in CO2X next week WP11031.
