STATE of H1: Commissioning
SHIFT SUMMARY:
LOG: IFO has been locked for 3h30m. Currently Commissioning team is performing some beam spot moves on the ETMs and Jeff K is looking swapping between DCPDs.

During the current lock Naoki and I had to change the 10.4kHz PI damping by -180 degrees, probably from the beam spot moves. Now we have turned off PI damping (by turning gains to zero) to stop the damping ringing up anything else during the spot moves. H1:SUS-PI_PROC_COMPUTE_MODE{24,31}_DAMP_GAIN can be changed back to 1000 to turn damping back on. H1:SUS-PI_PROC_COMPUTE_MODE31_PLL_PHASE can be adjusted if needed.

Since the mode31 started to ring up, I turned on the damping of mode31.

The monitor of the PI modes we are concerned with is on nuc25. Naoki explains this damping in alog 67966. From sitemap > PI > PI Overview you can open "10.4kHz scopes" and "! DTT Templates" to monitor them, see attached.

We've been aiming to keep H1:SUS-PI_PROC_COMPUTE_MODE31_PLL_AMP_FILT_OUTPUT (orange trace) < 5.

To turn the damping on, the second box from MODE 31 is the gain which Naoki has set to 1000. The phase is the slider at the end of the MODE31 row, currently set to 90, but this morning set to -90, see attached. You can adjust this gain if the mode is growing.
