Short story is that we replaced the annulus ion pump and discovered a huge leak on the pump's high voltage feedthrough, see photos.
Immediately after, we removed the new ion pump and replaced it with a gently used one pump. We connected started the aux cart and started pumping down the annulus system around 11:15 am, and as of this entry the aux cart continues to pump down on the annulus system. The aux cart located by BSC6 was set on top some foam to dampen the noisy cart. We'll need an opportunity today to go to Y-End and check on the pump down.
We have managed to change the leaky pump's feedthrough. Although, if the installed - already used - pump will work, we'll leave it there. We are waiting for the next lock-loss to attempt to switch on the AIP.

We closed the isolation valve for the annulus system yesterday (aux cart pumping but not on annulus system), and the ion pump responded in a positive way (eventually). The annulus ion pump was able to maintain vacuum on the system, and late this afternoon we took advantage of CDS work and removed all the hoses, "can" turbo, and the aux cart from the annulus system.
We'll keep an eye on this pump, since it's a H2 hand-me-down.
Work done under WP-11104.
