It appears that again the best damping settings for ITMY violin mode 5/6 and 8 have changed again. I have not done any testing for what is best, but the current settings are ringing up the modes. I am setting the gains for these modes to zero in the guardian.
However, FM1, 6 and 10 with a gain of 0.1 is working again for ETMY mode 1, so I have updated the guardian accordingly.
I found that FM1, FM2, and FM10 with a Gain of -0.4 works well for ITMY 8 (tested across two locks @ 76 W). Loaded setting into lscparams.
This evening I have been damping ITMY 5/6 using a reduced gain but the same filter settings, FM6 and FM10. Currently both modes are decreasing, according to the narrow band monitors, using a gain of -0.025. I started with -0.01 and ramped the gain up slowly. The broader monitors show mode 6 decreasing and mode 5 staying constant.
Yesterday afternoon I was able to damp IY05/06 using a lower gain (-0.025), even though the lock was not long but still the drive was coming down - see ndscope.
