QUICK SUMMARY:
- IFO was locked at NLN for 1:13 (acquired at 13:41 UTC)
- All observe SDFs are cleared, so I flipped the intention bit to OBSERVING @ 14:46 UTC
- CDS/SEI/FOM/DMs all look good
I was mistakenly under the impression that changing the IFO_MODE from Managed (1) to Auto (0) was enough for the IFO to change to OBSERVING (H1:GRD-IFO_OK = 1) once the IFO was READY. As the Guardian Overview shows, this is not enough, I also should have taken the Intention bit (H1:GRD-IFO_REQUEST) to OBSERVE for this to work. I didn't do that when I left Friday night as we were doing a calibration suite (69362) but I could have done as the IFO_READY flag would not have actually taken us to Observing until calibration was finished.
