Ops Day Shift Summary

TITLE: 05/23 Day Shift: 15:00-23:00 UTC (08:00-16:00 PST), all times posted in UTC
STATE of H1: Preventive Maintenance
SHIFT SUMMARY: We still have not fully recovered since the dolphin crash yestereday. After maintenance we took some time to investigate the PR3 movement that has been a mystery over the last week or two. Initial alignment and locking was reletively straight forward. The OMC locking problems that Ryan C ran into this morning we didn't see during our one time locking the OMC today. We recently made it to 25W and lost lock at MOVE_SPOTS, maybe because ALS was still unshuttered. Relocking again now.

Accepted TMS and ETM optic sliders in the safe.snaps in preparation for the dolphin cdsrfm work. These channels are unmonitored, but after a dolphin crash, it would be good to restore to more accurate values.
Sheila, Betsy, and myself went out to ISCT1 with the intention of realigning the beatnotes to the current PR3 position. While garbing up we convinced ourselves that we should first check that the ITM camera hasn't moved. To do this we should keep the ALS unshuttered and then look at where they are after we engage the full IFO ASC. Since we were garded up at the time, we did peek on table just to verify there wasn't any major problem, but we didn't actually touch or move anything on table.
- Sheila and Keita checked the ITM camera references when we got to DC readout, and didn't think that they had moved enough to be a problem.
