Both end hepi pump stations were taken down today. At EY, this was done so Randy could drill and mount unistrut brackets for the future install of a Beckhoff rack. At EX, Randy also drilled and tapped, but mostly we wanted to rig up and test adding the reservoir float switch to the Beckhoff, which kind of worked, but it doesn't tell us anything more than the already available channels. The relay reads 24V while the pump station is running, but that 24v comes from the VFD power supply and gets switched off when the VFD trips, regardless of the cause. We would have to re-engineer the float switch configuration in order to get a signal that would indicate the pump station tripped on the float switch, so I don't think we will pursue that readback for now.
