TITLE: 06/08 Owl Shift: 07:00-15:00 UTC (00:00-08:00 PST), all times posted in UTC
STATE of H1: Lock Acquisition
SHIFT SUMMARY: Not much observing time this shift with lots of time spent at OMC_WHITENING with high violins and 3 locklosses. Currently stuck locking Y-arm and passing off to TJ.

- Lost lock at 06:53UTC 1370242452 after 2h49 at NLN
- Details in 70267
- Reacquisition fully automatic, waited 30 minutes at OMC_WHITENING for violins to damp.
- NLN at 8:20, Observing at 8:22UTC.
- Accepted EY09 for an empty F4 filter sdf which I at the next lockloss reverted, see attached accept and revert and Ryan's 70264. I updated lscparams to not turn on EY09 FM4 and reloaded VIOLIN_DAMPING.
- Lost lock at 10:04UTC 1370253889 - after 1h43 at NLN.
- Due to earthquake. Peakmon only got up to ~600, plot attached. This wouldn't have caused a lockloss last year. I wonder what has changed in SEI, LSC or ASC to make us less robust. Tagging SEI.
- Held in DOWN for ~20 minutes while EQ passed through. Reacquisition fully automatic apart from that.
- ISC_LOCK went though PRMI
- Waited 40 minutes at OMC_WHITENING for violins to damp. VIOLIN_DAMPING guardian had turned EY01 gain to 0.02 (expect because it was high) so I put it back to nominal 0.1 for quicker damping.
- NLN at 12:12, Observing at 12:13UTC.
- Lost lock at 13:58UTC 1370267921 - after 1h45 in NLN
- Unsure of cause, no CSOFT_P ring up. Y-arm green low after this lockloss.
- INCREASE flashes tried to run for X-arm even though it was fine and had been locked ~5 minutes.
- Cannot get Y-arm flashes above 0.75 even after moving PR3 (put PR3 back)
H1 range channels and SenseMon are down 70271. Attaching ISC_LOCk state plot as a replacement.
Nothing has changed on the SEI side of things that would affect our earthquake robustness. We should have been able to ride out this eq, but SEI_ENV didn't even transition until 5 secs after the IFO lost lock, but we have survived eqs this size without. I'm starting to look to see if we are falling off a pd somewhere or something.
On attached screenshot, left column are some ifo channels, right column are some SEI channels. I don't have much to say at this point, but none of the SEI channels look crazy, IFO is just starting to see the eq and we lose lock.
