TITLE: 06/17 Eve Shift: 23:00-07:00 UTC (16:00-00:00 PST), all times posted in UTC
STATE of H1: Lock Acquisition
SHIFT SUMMARY:
The Earth continues it's mode of rumbling (contrast this to other weeks where there were days with no EQs!). Two EQs took H1 down (one from OBSERVING, and one while locking). Other than that, no issues to note as far as locking. Ending shift out with a lock which is over 2hrs which seems to be the norm for the last 2hrs, but we'll see how the earth & H1 treat Austin!
LOCK#1: (2308-0007)
- Xarm needed INC_FLASH
- Needed to adjust DIFFOFFSET to help FIND_IR
- DRMI video showed yaw misalignment...I ended up touching up flashes by moving BS, PRM, SRM slightly, and that helped, but then I went to PRMI, touched up by hand via the BS (w/ yaw), and let GRD take over.
- 0007: LOCKLOSS due to EQ (5.4-5.6 Fiji @2316...USGS was slow to post, but other sites posted pretty fast)--L1 remained locked.
- SEI_ENV did not get SEISMON alert, but "Peakmon high (603)", so it transitioned to EARTHQUAKE at 0008
LOCK#2: (0008-0148)
- Violins were a bit high (over 1.2 million ADC counts...of the 0.5 million avail counts) on this one, so the OMC WHITENING step took a while (~44min).
- 0350 LOCKLOSS due to N. Calif EQ
LOCK#3: (0352-0452) No intervention.
LOG:
- 2306 LOCKLOSS (1371078384.116699 ....said windy, but it wasn't too bad)
- 0007 LOCKLOSS due to EQ (5.5M @Fiji) while relocking
- 0000 Winds take a step up & start to slightly pop above 30mph (mainly EY).
- 0149 OBSERVING
- 0350 LOCKLOSS due to EQ (most likely a quick 4.4M EQ from northern Calif, which was seen as a 5min burst on the Picket Fence.
- 0452 OBSERVING
