After our first lock loss this morning I loaded I loaded in changes I made last week.
- [Tested] Updated the violin checker for the OMC_WHITENING state to handle the beating we see in the DCPDs so it won't turn on the whitening too early. When the predicted value gets just below threshold it will take the last 300 seconds of data (roughly the period we see) and if the max is above threshold it will return false. This means that we no longer have to manually select OMC_WHITENING and then wait, we can just request NOMINAL_LOW_NOISE and then it will know how long to wait while violins damp.
- [Tested] Minor changes to the H1_MANAGER to allow transitions in and out of the IDLE state. This caused some confusion over the weekend, but it should be easier to move between states now.
- Addionally, I added a notification in Verbal when this node goes into ASSISTANCE_REQ state.
- [NOT tested, but loaded] SRY locking for the SRC alignment step of initial alignment. To handle the trigger thresholds for the acquiring of SRY (see alog71573) this will lower the trigger thresholds if other conditions look OK.
Initial Alignment got through to SRC_ALIGN_OFFLOADED!!
SRY locking trigger thresholds change worked for this afternoon's initial alignment. See attached trend.
