Below is the summary of the LHO DQ shift for the week of 2023-09-04 to 2023-09-10
- In observing for the week ~72%. (90.9, 34.8, 66.6, 85.2,58.9, 81.8, 85.0)
- Range: generally mid to high 140s during the week, even reaching above 150Mpc for elongated periods towards the weekend. Some short-term fluctuations, as usual.
- Several major earthquakes contributed to locklosses on Thursday and Friday, additional medium-size EQ on Saturday and rolling through.
- Several locklosses during the first few days of the week related Capacitive Position Sensors (CPS), see alog on ISI ITMY Corner 2 Capacitive Position Sensors (CPS) Glitching; Caused Last Few Major Lock Losses
- Locklosses during the week are generally preceded by one or more larger LF glitches (at ~11-13Hz)
- Lines: getting intermittently strong during the week (~29, ~32, ~52Hz). Also see faint increase in ~13Hz, ~47Hz lines time to time.
- Combs: ~ 29.96Hz , ~4.98Hz, and ~9.48 on all days when Fscan available. Line counts below threshold on all days when data available.
- The general noise in the LF region (below 60 Hz) is elevated a few times during the week.
- Hveto winning channels are as expected based on previous weeks except for new channels showing up in round 3 or 4 are the following: H1:HPI-HAM5_BLND_L4C_Y_IN1_DQ, H1:HPI-ITMX_BLND_L4C_Z_IN1_DQ, H1:HPI-HAM3_BLND_L4C_RX_IN1_DQ, H1:HPI-HAM2_BLND_L4C_Z_IN1_DQ,
- Only a few pyCBC triggers with new SNR > 10 (medium or short); some days there are none.
