TITLE: 10/06 Eve Shift: 23:00-07:00 UTC (16:00-00:00 PST), all times posted in UTC
STATE of H1: Observing at 150Mpc
INCOMING OPERATOR: Ryan C
SHIFT SUMMARY:

Quiet shift up until H1 lost lock after 30hrs.  H1 took a bit of time to come back even through a Guatamalan EQ (which was not the reason for the lockloss, just an added impediment to relocking).  Ultimately took H1 to Initial Alignment and after this H1 has been swiftly making it's way to NLN w/ no issues.  
NOTE: Just before the end of the shift a M6.2 EQ from Afghanistan was inbound! :-/
LOG:

• before start of this shift - 2310:  VAC team grabbing items at FCES (jordan, gerardo)
• 0454 Lockloss (after just over 30hrs of lock) 
  • Tried to speed things up by going to Green Arms Manual (not sure if this was any faster)
  • For some reason ISC LOCK ran check mich fringes a 2nd time after doing it once...PRMI looked bad---all pitch for the PRM, but it went to check mich fringes before I could do anything w/ PRM....and then....
  • 0522 M5.9 earthquake from guatamala arrives.
  • Return to locking almost immediately, but have the same issue of ISCLOCK going to CHECK MICH FRINGES multiple times in a row (and not giving me any time to try to tweak the PRM).  At this point, I take H1 down and run an INTIAL ALIGNMENT.
  • 0554-0621 Initial Alignment
  • 0621 Return to locking an aligned H1---Green arms good, DRMI good, and now continuing through later states.
• 0629 LVEA6 300nm dust alarm it's 210similar counts (EX 300nm dust also reaches), but slowly drop a few minutes later.
• 0659 EQ Mode activated (as M6.2 Afghanistan EQ shakes the earth)---while ISC LOCK was at TRANSITION FROM ETMX
