Back after a lock loss and a large earthquake. Violin modes are quite high so we will be damping those for a while, but we are now in Observing.

A few notes on relocking.

  • When trying to find IR the ALS_COMM and ALS_DIFF nodes complained of "X arm transmission too low". Sure enough it was at 0.73 and the threshold was 0.75. I ended up doing an initial alignment, but came back to the same place. I manualed past this and it caught DRMI right away and made it up all the way without issue.
  • HAM7 CPS tripped during acquisition, but it wasn't real motion. Jim confirmed that he has seen this trip when people walk by it. Robert was near HAM6 around that time, but not too close to the rack there. Jim plans to move this particular chassis at some point a bit further from people.
  • Due to the high useism, we've had the nominal state for SEI_CONF at USEISM rather than the usual WINDY. I switched it back since our useism has lowered some and our winds have picked up.
