H1 TMS Upper Mass Staged Under BSC9 Cartdidge

(Andres, Apollo crew, Cheryl, Corey, Jeff)

Upper Mass Rolled Out To Cartridge

Most of the day was prepping and actually moving this Assembly.  Because of the orientation and spacing out at the Test Stand, the plan is to roll the Genie with the Upper Mass back-end-first under the Cartridge.  To orient the Upper Mass on the Genie, the Upper Mass was rotated via lifting hardware at the Bosch Frame.  Then this afternoon, the Upper Mass was rolled under the Cartridge while keeping it under a clean room (this is from the TMS Lab, through receiving, cleaning room, and into the VEA under the Test Stand.

Upper Mass Cleaned Before Roll Out

Before the big move, we performed a cleaning of the Assy.  We vacuumed & wiped with pre-soaked Alpha Wipes.

Vibration Absorber Interference

Time was running late, so we didn't attempt to clamp the Upper Mass to the ISI, but one thing we did notice was the NW Vibration Absorber on the Upper Mass Cage will interfere with the ISI's Stage-0.  We're going to talk about this with the SUS crew and see if this can be moved.

Cookie Cutter/Alignment Template (D1101050)

Not really sure where the error is on this, but to use this tool, we had to install it in a way where we did not utilize the counterbored holes (so perhaps the counterbores were cut on wrong side.  It still works, but it's just sad that there are un-used counterbores on this guy.
