To have a look at the AOM double pass efficiency, we checked the RF power send to the AOM. It was 1.46W, which is too high. So we changed the attenution in front of the VCO from 9dB to 10dB (using an 8dB and a 2dB attenuator). That gave us 1.2W.

Afterwards we optimized the alignment of the AOM and got a double pass efficiency of 72% (69.5mW to AOM, 59.5mW in single pass, 50.4mW after the EOM).

Because of realigning the AOM we had to optimize the alignment of the reference cavity and got 30mW transmitting with 50mW send into the cavity.
