Yesterday we installed a new switch in the mechanical room but had to revert the setup due to issues with data drop outs.  This appears that the fiber run to the switch is unable to support 10G.  Today I moved the connections back to the new switch and am running the switch at 1G instead of 10G.

When we put the new core switch in this switch (sw-mech-aux) will need a slightly different configuration.  I have pre-programmed that on a different fiber port.  So when we put the new core switch in we will need to go to the mechanical room and move the optic and fiber from port 1 to port2.
