Windfence repair and upgraded cable clamps

Randy, Jim, Eric, Mitchell, Tyler

Last week work on the EY wind fence wrapped up. Several of the horizontal cables came loose alog 75543 in the high winds back in January. This likely happended due to lack of proper torque on the cable clamps.

The horizontal cables were re-strung and then tentioned. All horizontal cables received a third cable clamp. Lock tight was added and the clamps were torqued to 45 foot pounds. In some cases the smaller cable that loops through the gromets and around the horizontal cable needed to be addressed. Although it looked bad there was very little damage. One panel had the veritcal edge torn away from the field of the panel. This means that the vertical looping cable is no longer connecting the panel to the upright post for about half the panel. The horizontal looping cable is still attached through the gromets and attached to the upright post.
