Following our PSL work on Tuesday (alog76002) during which the PMC alignment and output power changed, I took the opportunity this morning to recalibrate the PSL rotation stage.

Since there have been slow controls restarts in the past weeks, the rotation stage settings had been reset, so I started by putting those back according to trends. The rest of the process went as follows:

• Took IMC offline and paused LASER_PWR guardian
• Ran the script /opt/rtcds/userapps/release/psl/h1/scripts/RotationStage/MoveRotationStage.py to create PSL_rotStageCalib_29Feb2024.txt (attached)
• Changed PSLvals in CalibRotStage.m for correct file name then ran to create calibration curve (attached) and get new fit values (in table)
• Input new fit values into calibration and accepted new values in SDF (screenshot attached)
• Searched for HOME on rotation stage
• Resumed LASER_PWR guardian to go back to 2W input power
