Installed Pulizzi network controlled PDUs at end stations for remote camera power control

WP11736 Power control of end station POE injectors

Dave:

The new end station VEA switches do not have power-over-ethernet (POE) capability and therefore an injector is being used to power the end unit. There are only two POE devices at each of the end stations; the gigabit ethernet camera and the WIFI WAP.

To restore the ability to remotely power cycle the end station cameras, I have installed a pulizzi network controlled power distribution unit in the VEA vacuum racks which controls the power to the POE injector unit. Unfortunately this is an all-or-nothing solution in that the WAP will also be powered down along with the camera.

The pulizzi units are on the 105 slow controls network

I have created two new EPICS IOCs which control pwr-exvea-cds0 and pwr-eyvea-cds0

I have added these Pulizzis to the overview MEDM (attached). I had to shuffle the EX PDUs around a bit so as not to make the screen too wide.

Note that the POE is plugged into OUTLET-4 at EX, I found the other outlets to be too loose to hold the plug tightly.
