TITLE: 04/14 Eve Shift: 23:00-07:00 UTC (16:00-00:00 PST), all times posted in UTC
STATE of H1: Earthquake

SHIFT SUMMARY:

A bit of a rough shift with a rumbling planet for the first half of the shift.  Wind storm (20-30mph) for 4hrs of the shift.  Mid-shift marked by beginning of FC IR-locking issues for Squeezer.  And also had issues with SRC portion of alignment for 2-alignments from the night.  

If SQZ_FC unlocks, we should transition to NLN + NO SQUEEZING (via procedure in wiki).
LOG:

• 2311 H1 back to OBSERVING post M6.5 S.Pacific EQ (TJ reported no issues coming back up)
• 2320 EQ mode activated
• 2323 Lockloss (we were starting to ride another seismic peak in the EQ-band, but not clear where/what EQ it is; also have a noisy picket fence).
• Locking Notes:  DRMI locklosses had  POP18 get noisier while ASC comes on, and so went for CHECK MICH & PRMI.
  • 0008-0108 Initial Alignment started
  • Not able to complete SRC OFFLOADED (could not get SRY to acquire even with AS_C pd centering and tweaking SR2 & SRM).
  • Skipped SRC OFFLOADED
  • Returned to locking and got through DRMI ASC  & made it back to NLN
• ~0130 Winds take a fast and dramatic step up in speeds (for about 4hrs)
• 0155 H1 back to Observing
• 0242 Out of Observing due to Squeezer Issues  (contacted Naoki & Vicky also looking into it).  Had a couple of cycles in/out of Observing due to Squeezer, and then...
• 0303 LOCKLOSS
• Locking Notes:  Several locklosses at early stages of Locking, so from 0348-0420, started another Initial Alignment (had to skip SRC_OFFLOADED for a 2nd time in a row).
• 0503 NLN + SQZ work by Naoki & Vicky continues
• 0559 OBSERVING  (with SQZ_FC getting locked at 0545)
