GPS Antenna move on OSB roof

Richard relocated the corner station antennae which were mounted on the weather station tripod to their temporary location on the conduit goose-necks. This clears the roof in preparation for re-roofing work. The GPS antenna for the timing master was already located on the conduit, and was only affected by the local activity (see attachment). The NTP antenna was disconnected during the move. The receiver in the MSR was not powered down and it recovered satellite tracking very quickly (less than a minute).

We learnt that any work close to the master antenna can cause loss of tracked satellites especially if the antenna is touched.
