To estimate the FC backscatter noise, we excited the FC IR error signal. The attached figure shows the FC IR error signal and DARM with (red)/without (blue) exciation. Although the FC IR error signal is excited by a factor of more than 30 between 10-100 Hz, the excess noise in DARM is small so the FC backscatter noise should be much smaller than DARM.
