TITLE: 06/09 Day Shift: 1430-2330 UTC (0730-1630 PST), all times posted in UTC

SHIFT SUMMARY:
 Tried to be better at noting main items in the alog today, but overall, we have received the OK for high power work from Jenne/Mike.  With this, spent most of the day with Keita remotely, Sheila via chat, and then Jenne joined remotely.  Have made it past 60W a few times, but have an issue at LOWNOISE LENGTH CONTROL.  The last hour or so H1 has had locklosses in early steps around DRMI and earlier, so Tony started an alignment.

The COSMIC film crew has been busy with set-up in the MPR, Roof, and Control Room.  (Richard and Mike have been working with them.)

• Locking Notes:
  • Attempted to lock H1 and intentionally went through CHECK MICH FRINGES + PRMI.  Had DRMI lock, but it wasn't stable and would lose lock after a few seconds.
  • ~1550 Running INITIAL ALIGNMENT
    • AutoCenter for ALS-X needed the FORCE button to be toggled to get ALSx to align
    • Rest of INITIAL ALIGNMENT completed with no issue (thought there would be issues with SRC, as Tony experienced, but 
• 1730 Film Crew arrives, and Richard arrives
• 1735 Richard is doing work at LExC and I am his buddy until around noon.
• 1755 Mike (and Jenne) give approval for powering up ABOVE 10W (so this restriction has been lifted).
• 2046 Film crew making noises:  large trucks in the parking lot and then Richard asked if they could move the Genie Lift close to the vertix (near H2 Elec room) to move equipment on roof.
  • 2110 Genie let through the gate (richard)
• 2104 Lockloss at LOW NOISE LENGTH CONTROL (First time at 60W this weekend), and have not seen any jumps in pressure for any of the 10+W powers
• 2139 Grabbing fall protection harness from LVEA (richard)
