Reacting to the issue in aLog https://alog.ligo-wa.caltech.edu/aLOG/index.php?callRep=80619, the GV10 AIP was swapped, as the pump broke down.
The AIP was swapped with a noble diode pump, as a lesson learnt from the latest AIP swap: https://alog.ligo-wa.caltech.edu/aLOG/index.php?callRep=80411.
The only difficulty was after swapping the pump and then pumping on the Annulus line, the old Varian controller did not work (the reason for its malfunction is now supposedly diagnosed), and so now the Ion pump runs with an Agilent IPC Mini controller. The downside of this is that the wiring of its data cable is not compatible with the current CDS setup, and therefore on the MEDM screen the AIP still appears as faulty - see picture attached. The controller will be replaced shortly, after the Varian controller is fixed. Until then, the Agilent controller will be periodically checked.
Nevertheless, the Noble-diode pump proved to be an excellent choice again, as it pumped the Annulus volume down pretty quickly (in about 7 minutes) below 1E-6 Torr.
