STATE of H1: Lock Acquisition

SHIFT SUMMARY:

For most of the shift, it was a bit windy, and at around 230pm PT, winds died for a bit.  And microseism continues to drop.  

PSL group (Jason & RyanS) made a temperature change (there was no PSL Room incursion) and this required changes to the ALS & SQZ lasers (by Daniel & Vicky).  H1 made it to NLN just after 3pm PT and then work began with the Squeezer (Vicky, Camilla)....but then there was a lockloss.

H1's currently on its way back to NLN and the hope is the Squeezer will lock after the squeezer adjustments by Vicky/Camilla.

• 1954-2100 Adjusting ALS & Squeezer lasers to follow the temperature change made for the PSL this morning (daniel, vicky)

• 2131 Begin locking
  • Original ALS issues were due to me forgeting to take SEI_ENV to CALM (from MAINTENANCE)
  • Green arms locked fine
  • DRMI looked horrible, so ran CHECK MICH FRINGES + PRMI
    • PRMI needed PRM to be moved in yaw and then it locked.
    • DRMI eventually locked afte some SRM yaw tweaks, but ASC didn't engage.
    • 2220-2238 Decided to run an Initial Alignment
    • 2319 H1at NLN and then Squeezer team addressing settings for the SQZ
• 2325 Travis mentioned that a vacuum pressure gauge for the Filter Cavity near HAM7 has been making a "clicking" noise.  We opted to not address it as H1 just made it to NLN.  But if there is an opportunity, we should get a VAC person or Fil to check it out (and power it off and/or unplug it).
  • 2348 Since there was a lockloss, Travis went out to address this gauge
• 2340 Vicky and Camilla went out to the LVEA for SQZ adjustments with H1 at NLN
