TITLE: 02/07 Eve Shift: 0030-0600 UTC (1630-2200 PST), all times posted in UTC
STATE of H1: Observing at 151Mpc
INCOMING OPERATOR: Ryan S
SHIFT SUMMARY:

Quiet shift for the most part until the waning minutes when there was a lockloss.  No obvious reason for the lockloss, but there was the PI24 ring up a couple of min earlier, and there was an earthquake which was on its way, but it looks small (LOCKLOSS is still analyzing).

Before the lockloss, contemplated going out of observing for possible SQZ attention (due to lowish H1 range), but then the range would hover back up, so ultimately held off.

Similar to last night, have had hours of snow flurries, but only a dusting is sticking thus far.

• 0207--0209 Out of Observing for PI24
• 0451 Incoming Earthquake M5.8 from Cocos Islands from south pacific.
• 0544--0545 Out of Observing for PI24  PLUS
  • LOAD hit for ISC_DRMI while we were bumped out of Observing
• 0547 LOCKLOSS
  • H1's locking and it ded need a Y-arm SCAN ALIGNMENT.  Thought of proactively running an Initial Alignment, but going to leave it to guardian to make the call at this point.
