SHIFT SUMMARY:

More Commissioning Than Observing This Shift. 
Wind has been the highlight of the last 12hrs with H1 able to lock once the winds died this morning, but immediately jumped into scheduled Commissioning time.  Then after about 30min of Observing, an earthquake took H1 down.  Then 71min of Observing and then a HUGE (and fairly quick) wind event took H1 down again---with winds gusting up to 65mph (see attached).

There is a wind advisory for the next 24hrs starting at 7pm local time.  Good luck Eve & Owl shifts! :-/

• Took Observatory Mode to WIND to help us mark the downtime overnight which started due to wind.
• 1534-1553 Initial Alignment
  • Even w/ alignment, DRMI didn't look great and went to PRMI within 4min (and it locked PRMI within a min).
  • But DRMI still looked pretty ugly with no triggers.  Wondering about the alignment again.
  • 1617 2nd Initial Alignment
    • DRMI---could atleast see triggers and then locked within a minute.  (Maybe one part of alignment failed the first time?)
    • note:  OFFLOAD_DRMI_ASC had a very odd behavior with POP90 & PR_GAIN getting very LOUD and for ASC the SRC2 pitch and yaw also had very odd and noisy behavior.  Stopped at OFFLOAD_DRMI_ASC and it came back 
    • Other than that funny business, H1 made it to NLN w/ no issues after the 2nd alignment.
• 1600-1620 Optics Lab cleaning (kim)
• 1637-1758 Camera testing (jonathan)
• 1640 Tumbleweed baling on x-arm away from EX (chris)
  • 1706 Delayed due to engine trouble?
  • 1727-1753 clearing X-arm X1
  • 1754 clearing X-arm X2
    • 1754-1840 cleared from MX to midway point of X2 (from 2km to 3km)
    • 1840-1915 cleared from midway point of X2 to about halfway to EX (i.e. from about 3km to 3.5km)  Done for day?
  • 1813 Tyler checking up on Chris status
• 1700 Jason came in to mention RefCav misalignment (in pitch).  May need action....
• 1717 H1 back to NLN (& COMMISSIONING begins)
• 1817 Opening outside Receiving door (kim)
• 1830 Rahul mentioned committing new ITMy MODE-05 settings + LOADing VIOLIN_DAMPING node  (so no more need to enter by hand).
• 1950 Back to OBSERVING at abourt 150Mpc

• 2022 Incoming EQ alert
  • 2035 SEI EQ-Mode activated (M5.4 Cayman Island EQ)
  • 2045 SEI back to CALM-Mode
• 2037 Out of Observing due to Squeezer, and as I was watching nodes relock the SQZ....
• 2038 90-sec after SQZ unlocks, H1 has a lockloss (maybe due to a small Cayman Island M5.4 EQ)
• 2043 Taking H1 IMC down so Jason can touch up alignment to the PSL RefCav.
• 2115 Outside Alarm testing
• 2202 Back to OBSERVING
• 2208-2218 Optics Lab to get kapton tape (RyanC)
• 2257-2329 EX parts check (janos)
• 2313 LOCKLOSS (wind)
• 2319 Had a gust of around 63mph at Mid-X!!
• 2326 H1 taken to IDLE to wait out wind....basically about 20min  (because I was not able to run an alignment)
