TITLE: 03/23 Eve Shift: 2330-0500 UTC (1630-2200 PST), all times posted in UTC

SHIFT SUMMARY:
W I N D
Most of this shift (and the end of Ryan S' shift were dominated with a wind storm with winds which were in the 30+mph range for going on 9hrs.
LOG:
- H1 has been in IDLE for most of the time during the wind storm
- 0304 High Wind Attempts to see how ALSx & y would fare---Although the Corner Station winds were still in the high 30s.
- ALSx was surprisingly fine with locking, but ALSy was struggling with these winds
- 0339 Back to IDLE
- 0417-0449 Initial Alignment Attempt 2: Mich Bright took about 10min, but it looks like the IA was successful. Setting up H1 for attempting NLN for the night.
- This alignment was done with Corner Station winds 25-45mph (EX & EY winds were about 10-30mph).
- See attached screenshot of 1hr period when the alignment wsa run.
- 0451 Attempting locking.....ALSx looking fine, but ALSy continues to struggle....but it manages a wobbly lock for a few seconds at a time in these 40mph winds....completed LOCKING ARMS GREEN only to have a LOCKING ALS lockloss. 2nd lockloss was also at LOCKING ALS.
