STATE of H1: Observing at 150Mpc

SHIFT SUMMARY:

Tonight is the last in-person Operator shift (TJ is the last OWL) before the April-Jun2025 Maintenance+Commissioning Break which begins at 8am (Local Time) tomorrow morning.

H1 has been stellar.  Rode through an Alaskan EQ and is going on almost 7.75hrs of lock.  And the range has been higher than normal (just under 159Mpc)....but then it went back to the normal 150Mpc after the SQZ lost lock and relocked toward the end of the shift.

• ISS Array group continues work in the Optics Lab (myank, siva, jennie, keita, rahul)
  • 0015 jennie, rahul, and keita left
  • 0215 myank, siva left
• 0022 Drive to welding shop (vpw bldg) to drop off tooling (jim)
• 0411 Incoming M5.2 EQ from Alaska (Verbal said Canada) at about 2800miles away.  H1 rode through this EQ fine; there was no wind and secondary microseism is just about between the 50th & 95th percentile lines.
• 0436-0439 Dropped from OBSERVING due to SQZ (which restored automatically).  SQZ SHG Fiber Rejected Power has been high and has a message about this.
