Today we were able to install the assembly for the new 1000AMU RGA. (D2300253). This is located on the Y-beam manifold near BSC8.

The assembly had been previously built in the staging building and the final 8"CF connection to the gate valve on the YBM was done. There is a temporary support stand currently attached, a more permanent support and bump protection cage will be installed later.

The assembly was helium leak checked at all joints, He dwell of ~5 seconds per joint. No He signal was seen above the HLD background ~1.7E-10 Torr-l/s.

Assembly will continue to pumpdown overnight on a turbo, then will transition to the assembly 10 l/s diode ion pump.
