Elenna, Matt, Camilla. Continuing ISC component inspection and prep for re-installation from 83858.
Elenna, Matt and I continued to first contact the optics in pans 1 and 2: M7, M11, M12 (new 90/10 BS), M13, M15 (New 50/50 BS), M16, M17, M18. After again inspecting some of those we cleaned yesterday, we decided to re-clean some. Some needed multiple first contacting, they aren't all perfect (there is a 1" long incredibly hard to see line on M15 and a mark in the center of M18 photo that I will ask a second option on), but otherwise we are calling these two pans of optics ready for re-installation.
For M15, I installed the picomotors that I removed from the right handed mount into a left handed siskiyou mount. I installed the manually adjustable actuators removed from the left handed mount into the right handed mount, this will be stored. Notes on how to do this are attached.
Still to be done: decide if M15 and M18 are okay or need swapping, clean optics in pan 3; inspect periscope mirrors; swap out any glass beamdumps we can.
In this alog, M18 is actually M10, E1000669 S/N 014, HR1064HT532. After speaking with Keita, we plan to replace the optics I couldn't clean, M10 and M15.
I have swapped the pan location of M15 and L2, so that L2 is now M15 is in pan#1 and L2 is in pan#2. This has been updated in the googledoc.
Sheila and I were concerned that the not closed-edge large white cloths could be causing more dust to fall on the optics, but the ones we packed on Friday still looked fine today so we think that is not an issue. We put individual closed-edge white cloths over each optic in pan 2. All the optics in pan 2 (HW1, L2, M7, M17) are clean and ready to install and it's placed back in the HAM3 cleanroom rack.
This afternoon Matt and I first contacted M1, M5, M6, M14, M18 and the new optics for M10 (E1000669-v1 S/N:?) and M15 (E040512-B1 S/N: 826-08). We're leaving a second coat on M1, M10 and M15 overnight, the center of the others all look good.
