Oli, Ryan C, Keita, Sheila, Rahul, Betsy, Jason, Jenne, Jordan, Camilla, CR Move crew....
This morning Tyler coordinated a move of the HAM1 cleanroom to allow space to later move ISCT1 into position.
Rahul did some PM1 transfer functions but will need some more time troubleshooting PM1 voltmons.
Betsy and I started to check the alignments of the POP, REFL and PSL ALS beams out of the chamber. We found the PSL ALS beam was in the incorrect position and clipped on the light pipe so Jason and Keita fixed the ALS PSL beam in the PSL enclosure, details in 84320. Before lunch all beams were aligned as if headed to ISCT1 but dumped before leaving the ISI.
We moved the POP ASC and LSC diodes to the locations suggested by Elenna in 84313, POP LSC diode about 140 mm from M15 and the POP WFS about 200 mm from M15. These still need to be aligned.
We also began to check beams were hitting beamdumps and adjusted some beamdumps, Betsy changed the plates in DB17 so it could fit between the balance masses. Progress on checking all beamdumps in 84321.
IMC input power back down to 2W and locked out, reminder that the input power need to be at 2W to lock and we should not leave the power at 20W overnight.
The VAC team opened GV7 and CDS team fixed the cameras (ALS cameras are on ISCT1 so we can't use them). Sheila aligned the X-arm in green, using the baffle align scripts as per 62024 plus ETM. then adjusted ALS PHD medm to use REFL PD rather than TRAN PD for locking and adjusted the "REFL locked power percent", took ALS_XARM guardian to LOCKED_SLOW_NO_WFS and adjusted REFL_A_PD nominal current to be 3.0mA when unlocked. The X-arm then locked. Note that we didn't want to lock with green camera's as we don't trust them as references after a vent. Keita and Betsy verified that it was locked on a higher order 2-0 mode, off in PIT and that the green beam was too high on the periscope mirror. We later adjusted the ETMX (maybe TMSX) alignment and this improved to a 0-0 mode (verified by Betsy and dumped before leaving HAM1). We are able to hand-engage the green TMS ETM WFS and offloaded those.
When we went to re-verify where the POP flashes were located with this ITMX alignment, we couldn't get good POP flashes and needed to realign, notes below:
At this point Betsy was able to see POP flashes and the green beam at the same time. Some photos of this are attached, we estimate there is about the 13mm vertical separation, as expected, between the POP and ALS beams, see photo. The green ALS beam gets to the bottom periscope mirror without clipping but is VERY close to the top of the top periscope mirror, photos of the upper and lower periscope mirror attached. Tomorrow we plan to slide the top periscope mirror up ~10mm to get both beams better centered on the mirror. We don't have range on the periscope pole to go any higher than this but this should be enough.
Betsy and Jordan set the viewport simulator using the HAM1 door laying on the floor and attached it to HAM1, the middle viewport is slightly off but we drew a template to show where the actual VP should be, on laminated paper/red pen on the shelves next to HAM1.
Tomorrow we will plan to slide to top periscope mirror up ~10mm and confirm both beams better centered on the mirror. We'll then need to check and adjust alignment of the POP path after this change and align the ALS beam onto M11 and off the table in the correct place. After this we'll roll/forklift ISCT1 to it's correct place and verify all 4 beams (currently dumped) leave HAM1 though the VP simulator and onto the periscopes of ISCT1. ISCT1 can then be removed and the GV closed. Final steps are then the POP M15, LSC and ASC diodes path, placing and checking all beamdumps and testing M15 picos.
