TCS install BSC 1,2,3
Alastair H. Thomas V. Joe D. Greg G. The install of the steering mirrors went really smoothly today. Alignment will for Y-Arm will begin this weekend.

Alastair H. Thomas V. Joe D. Greg G. A rough alignment for ITM-Y was done on Sunday using the temporarily attached TCS viewport, a tripod, and a laser. The alignment went really smoothly with the only roughness being fighting the SM2 mount. BSC 1 had the blank removed and was temporarily fitted with the TCS viewport. The TCS viewport has been failing leak test checks due to a leak issue with the viton seal and the wedged optics. Using a laser and a tripod mount we approximated the TCS periscope location and shot down to Steering Mirror 1 in BSC 1 then to Steering Mirror 2 in BSC 2 and back to ITM-Y. The next step is to repeat this for ITM-X when the BSC 3 door can be put up on the East side and the West door removed.
