Ops Day Shift End
TITLE: 07/22 Day Shift: 1430-2330 UTC (0730-1630 PST), all times posted in UTC
STATE of H1: Observing at 150Mpc
INCOMING OPERATOR: Ryan C
SHIFT SUMMARY: Long list of maintenance activities checked off for the day (Trello board). Relocking was uneventful, I tried playing with some gains and timers to help catch DRMI faster but I'm unsure this actually helped. We've been observing for 3.5 hours.
- Relocking after maintenance
- Initial alignment went fully auto
- DRMI was taking longer than expected considering the amount of triggers and good flashes that we were getting. This has been the norm lately, but still not the norm for O4. I tried changing some LSC gains and filter trigger times (mostly MICH & PRCL). I'm not sure if it was just coincidence or my changes helped, but more PRCL gain (12->15) and a lower PRCL trig time (0.2->0.15) is where it eventually caught. I did not save these changes.
