Tuesday morning the Geist 1250 CDS computer rack environment monitor unit at EY was found to be stuck at its last value as of 04:53 Sunday 26oct2025. Erik found the front panel display as showing these last values, and the ethernet link light was flashing rapidly. The unit (env-ey-1) could not be pinged. Erik power cycled the unit and it came back in an operational state. 

This unit failed again at 01:15 Wed 29oct2025 after having ran for about 17 hours.

Note that to show future sensor failure yesterday I made a change the the MEDM screens to show the STATUS PV as a warning color (see attached)
