Built two periscopes for JAC

Jennie W, Rahul, Betsy

Yesterday Rahul and I built two periscopes for the beam translation from input PSL beam in HAM1 to table height for JAC input and output of JAC back to beam height required for beam into HAM2 input periscope.

The one between the PSL and JAC is type -121 in drawing LIGO-D1201342. Left-side in pic.

The one between the JAC and HAM2 is type -132 in drawing LIGO-D1201342. Right-side in pic.

We had to leave off one of the hex screws that attaches the periscope stiffener (part 26) to the periscope base (part 20) as the hex screw hole thread became stripped and we could tighten it. I think this is either part number 7 or 19. These are two hex screws of different lengths and we tried both but neither would tighten. Betsy and Rahul decided that the structure seems stiff enough without it.

Extra pic of Rahul and Betsy with one of the periscopes.

At the end Betsy and Rahul weighed the two periscopes.

Here is 121 and here is 132.
