OPS Tuesday eve shift summary
TITLE: 03/18 Eve Shift: 2330-0500 UTC (1630-2200 PST), all times posted in UTC
STATE of H1: Planned Engineering
INCOMING OPERATOR: None
SHIFT SUMMARY: I couldn't get SRY locked/aligned, SR2 and SRM alignment should probably be looked at tomorrow.
LOG:
- I tried to start off with a fresh alignment, which wasn't so easy
- Using ISC_LOCK I locked the green arms, then ran their alignments (XARM didn't want to lock)
- I then went up to FIND_IR let X lock then adjusted PR2 to maximize X_IR, it was mostly Yaw.
- PR2_P 1373.4 -> 1375.3
- PR2_Y -227 -> -225.3
- I dropped into Manual_IA, starting with PRX
- PRM_P -1580 -> -1574.5
- PRM_Y 25.6 -> 60.6
- MICH_DARK (10Ws)
- BS_P 101.7 -> 77.0
- BS_Y -391.5 -> -392.6
- SR2 then SRY
- SR2_P -129.5 -> 3.1 (seemed like a lot at the time)
- SR2_Y 278.3 -> 269.0
- I couldn't lock SRY and was prompted to do SR2 align by hand?
- I moved around SR2 with SRM for a while but I wasn't able to find a good alignment to lock with
- 02:40 UTC Still not having any luck getting SRY locked, I'm doing to drop and give PRMI/DRMI a try for the last bit of my shift
- Yarm is gone now? No light at all, couldn't find them scanning nearby with ITM ETM
- Running Baffle PD scripts, TMSY then ITMY (these scripts take longer than I thought they did)
- 20:05 UTC Still nothing on ALSY
Ibrahim and I found the Y-arm ALS beam by restoring BS Pitch which got mis-aligned ~100urad during MICH_DARK_LOCKED, attached. We also had to restore ETMY Pitch to get light back.
