This afternoon we had some locks of ALS DIFF that lasted 1-2 minutes, but we loose lock by saturating the ESD.  

Louis has some plots of the measurements taken last night, compared to a model of ALS DIFF.  

We found that we could stay locked for a minute or two by setting the DARM1 gain to 4, setting L3 Drivealign L2L gain to 2, then ramping the DARM 1 gain up to 400.  We eventally loose lock in this state by saturating the ESD linearization with 0.2 Hz drive.  We have two boosts in the L1 that should help with this, however when we engage them we loose lock right away.  

We adjusted the HAM3 pico slightly to improve the beatnotes and reduce the apparent clipping of the X arm beam.  

We later lost the X arm beam, Oli is rerunning the baffle PD scripts.  We think that it is not worth trying further to lock ALS DIFF while we have rubbing on ETMX and can't run slow feedback to it.  

We did put our steps that sometimes worked into the guardian with a flag to avoid ETMX actuation.
