Relocked this morning easily after the Utah earthquake. There have been several more large earthquakes this morning along the Ring of Fire. The IFO has ridden through these with a bit of range drop but no other apparent consequences. We are still ringing up from the last large group of quakes in Indonesia. The wind is low, and microseism is high. The range is hovering around 115Mpc. Today's goal is to keep it locked, and do the best we can to ride through these troubled times.
Add 300ml water to Crystal Chiller. Water had not been added since 02/20/20 Added 150ml to the Diode Chiller. Levels were OK just had extra water in cup. Both filter look good. The pressures and flows are normal. Closing FAMIS #10553
The ETM ISI had tripped as well. The BS did not trip.
The Lock Loss Alert system medm is not updating, its last time stamp was 02:59:59 PDT this morning. I'm investigating.
I found the bug introduced when I added the supernova subclass of guardian alerts, I've fixed the code and restarted it. Because we were still in a guardian alert state, the code was immediately tested and it sent out the grd alerts with no problems.
Guardian automatically put H1 back into observing early this morning. The attached 12 hour trend shows H1-range, IFO-STATE (100=observe) and the IFO_NOTIFY (20=active, 30=grd_alert). About an hour after H1 went out of observation at 3am, guardian restored observation after resolving the issue.

I don't recall when I first noticed this but it wasn't lang after my shift started and as I prepare to leave the site they still are not back to nominal operation.
The phones and some wireless APs were down due to a network switch that needed to be rebooted. The reboot was done this morning and so Ryan took the opportunity to udate the switch to the latest software release.
Isolated EX RGA that is bolted to BSC5 empty chamber and observed the main volume pressure immediately decrease. I was monitoring PT-510; starting pressure was 1.97x10^-9 Torr and fell to 1.68x10^-9 Torr several minutes later. Then we mysteriously lost EX vacuum channels and could not read out several pressure gauges including PT-510 (see Gerardo's aLOG 55654). A trend of PT-523 on other side of CP8 is attached, along with the hot cathode wide-range PT-525 gauge on BSC5 (still waiting for PT-510 to recover).
I connected the leak checker to RGA pump port, removed foil/tape from each conflat joint, one-by-one, while spraying He. The highest signal read from a couple of flanges was 3x10^-9 Torr-L/s of He (background 1x10^-12 Torr-L/s). Next week I'd like to revisit this to pin point the leaky joint(s). We are expecting a much bigger leak in e-7 Torr-L/s range.
Kyle came by (while honoring social distancing) and cycled the N2 calibration bottle valve in case that was the cause of bigger leak. Next week I will valve RGA back into main volume to measure new pressure.
RGA is OFF and valved out of main volume. Leak detector is still connected, but valved out of RGA manifold.
PT-510 is finally back online. Pressure now reading 1.67x10^-9 Torr.
