Summary (highlights) of the DQ Shift: 

• Overall duty cycle was 88.17%.
• Most of the time the range kept stable above 115Mpc.
• Occasional range drops occurred because of wind (Monday and Saturday), and squeezer problem (Tuesday and Thursday). (alog 55281)
• High SNR (>20) glitches were clustered at ~12Hz and between 200-400Hz, 4-6h on Monday and 2-4h and ~15h on Saturday. In consequence, glitch rates were elevated on these periods.
• LSC-MICH_IN1_DQ (Monday) and ASC-DHARD_Y_OUT_DQ (Saturday) channel vetoed efficiently low frequency glitches out of these.
• Violin mode at ~500Hz rang at the beginnings of most of lock stretches. (e.g., link)
• Three short duration (~7min-long) noise excesses appeared at ~32Hz on Wednesday. Presumably related to the on/off of the air compressor. (alog 53271).
• Daily PSD on Wednesday is higher than the cumulative PSD above ~30Hz on Wednesday. (Ratio and each PSDs)
• 48 hour-long stable and continuous observing mode from Saturday to Sunday.

when comparing to spectra in alog 55138:

• ETMY_ST1_CPSINF_V1 has a new peak between 70 and 80Hz
• BS_ST1_CPSINF_H1 has a higher peak at around 60Hz
• HAM5_CPSINF_V3 has a slght increase above 100Hz
• HAM4_CPSINF has some peak height changes above 40Hz, not dramatic
• HAM2_CPSINF, reduced peaks abouve 40Hz
• all others are improved or unchanged

SHIFT SUMMARY: The IFO is relocking after a lock loss from an earthquake in Canada.
LOG:

23:48 UTC Cycled squeezer guardian due to increase in H1:SQZ-OPO_REFL_DC_POWER.
03:01 UTC Lock loss to earthquake in Canada. Lost lock just before the notification of the earthquake. Hit the big red button soon after. HAM4 ISI, OFI and ZM2 tripped.
03:35 UTC Hit RECOVER EQ.
03:36 UTC Started untripping WDs. I noticed the HAM5 ISI had a red 'Rogue Exc WD' button. I hit it and it turned green.
03:45 UTC Starting relocking.
04:51 UTC Back to observing. No SDF differences.
06:37 UTC Lock loss from earthquake in Canada. SEI_CONF is not letting me switch to EARTH_QUAKE.

Attached are plots of the ETMY violin mode 1 and mode 6 monitor filters, before and after the change.  In the OLD filters, the mode 6 monitor filter covered both the mode 1 and mode 6 frequencies, and in the NEW filters, I separated the filters such that each filter has only one peak, and the level they cross over the other other peak is around 75dB.  This wiork was complete on 27 Feb, alogged today.

TITLE: 03/08 Day Shift: 15:00-23:00 UTC (08:00-16:00 PST), all times posted in UTC
STATE of H1: Observing at 117Mpc
INCOMING OPERATOR: Patrick
SHIFT SUMMARY:

H1's been locked over 41.5hrs (Observing for almost 2hrs....this is due to recent Squeezer cycle.).  Currently Robert & Dick are on site with Patrick.
LOG:

• 21:00-21:02 Out of Observing to cycle Squeezer.
• 21:34 Observe an earthquake rolling through was small, and no action needed.
• 22:36 GRB short alert & Stand Down.
• 22:45 Noticed timing error for h1iopasc0 & performed DIAG RESET.

When Patrick arrived he noticed red on the CDS Overview (see attached).  This was for Timing of H1IOPASC0.  After screenshot-ing, clicked on DIAG RESET & this cleared it up.

Noticed this on DIAG_MAIN:

• 20:15utc (13:15 PT):  "SQZ: SQZ OPO REFL DC Power has increased."

Attached is a screenshot of H1:SQZ-OPO_REFL_DC_POWER for the last 24hrs & you can see this channel beginning to increase at 20:02utc.

IFO_NOTIFY guardian node remains in the IDLE state (vs this time previously when it went to an ALERT ACTIVE state).

Smooth sailing with H1 locked for over 37.5hrs.  (attached is the SenseMon range with H1/L1/V1 all locked for over 24hrs!)

Addressed TCS Chillers (10:41am local):

• TCSx Chiller:  Had level of 29.5 cm.  Added 70mL for 30.0cm.
• TCSy Chiller:  Had level of 9.3 cm.  Added 50mL for 10.2cm.

NOTE:  Needed to modify script's "start time" to 3am (it was 2am previously, and there were errors for this due to Daylight Savings Time).

The following CPSs are listed as over threshold (all others OK & all spectra attached):

• BS_ST2_CPSINF_V1_I high freq noise is high!
• ETMY_ST2_CPSINF_V2 high freq noise is high!

Over last 24hrs microseism has taken a nice ramp down & winds have been dead calm for the last 12hrs.

And on this Spring Forward Day, H1's been locked for 33.75hrs (20.5hrs in observing) with a range just under 120Mpc.  Almost a nice 24hrs of lock on Sensemon Range!
