SHIFT SUMMARY: Recovered lock after a few tries getting past the the spot move. Squeezer dropped us out one but relocked quickly. Our range isn't the cleanest, but may be improving.
LOG:
2 hour lock. Our range has been drifting down since the start of the shift, and I haven't found anything that seems out fo the norm. There looks to be some 30-40Hz noise that will very slightly increase from time to time, but I cant confirm that it is the cause.
We had some trouble staying stable after going through the spot move, but what seemed to work is waiting after ther soft loops have engaged for everything to settle a bit more. This may mean that we need to set some thresholds a bit tighter.
Violin modes are up a bit, I will keep an eye on them and make sure they are heading down and/or being damped.

This is the results from WP 8442 and 8451.
At the X-end, we were able to survey the NCAL. Since the all the covers were on the NCAL, we had to remove the NCAL from its' mount and remove the cover to expose on half of the rotor then reinstall the NCAL onto the mount. This was to expose the NCAL rotor and the punch mark that we use as our reference points. Since the NCAL plate now has slots where the bolts fasten the NCAl to the plate, this means the NCAL can translate either towards or away from the chamber before being bolted down. We decided locate the NCAL as far back as the slots would allow. This ensures we have plenty of clearance between the back of the NCAL and the flange bolts on the vacuum chamber. After surveying the NCAL, we removed the NCAL from the mount once more. During this time, we took the opportunity to check all the bolts were torqued down. We followed the numbers from T1100066-v6 using number under the 'generic SS' column. Once all the bolts were checked, the NCAL cover was bolted on and the NCAL was re-installed onto the mount, torquing the bolts down. We ensured we located the NCAL in the same position as it was surveyed in by moving the NCAL as far back into the slots as possible. I cable-tied the orange power and comms cable to the conduit that runs adjacent to the NCAL, to relieve the stresses on the wight of the cable on the connector. The NCAL is now in its final installed state. The only part that is missing is the MuMetal cover to shield spurious magnetic field from the motor because the mounting fixture for this is not ready yet and should not prevent an inital spin test.
The BNC cable in the EE bay was plugged into the chassis as well as the BNC connected to the grey satellite box in the XVEA. In addition, the power to the grey satellite box was switched on thus, there should now be data available on H1:CAL-NCALX_ENCODER_VELOCITY_DQ.
We were unable to spin the NCAL at the end station using the MEDM screen or directly though the Beckhoff software. When looking at the screen on the motor controller, a 'UnderVoltage(E)' error. With Fils helps this, this was because I forgot to plug in the AC power to the motor controller and I had not brought the cable with me to the end station. Thus, I will wait for an opportunity to enable power to the Beckhoff Motor Controller - which was detailed in LHO alog 53208.
Walked away about 4:20. We still had light and motivation but after three poles, the boom of the crane refused to tilt down. It would extend and retract and left & right and cable in and out, and, tilt up, but refused to tilt back down. Being positioned between a couple holes managed to set one more pole for four placed today. Without being able to tilt the boom back down, the crane truck is not moving. Not sure if that is just procedural or if there is a lock out but they have a call into the crane company.

After Jim locked HEPI for both HAM5 and 6, the scaffolding was removed without incident.
Scaffolding components were stacked on a pallet, which was put away inside the large equipment access bay.

QUICK SUMMARY: Had another lock loss after engaging soft loops as we handed off. We are approaching that spot now, so we shall see if we get it this time.
At 16:22 (LHO time) I restarted the h1ncalex PC and at 16:24 (LHO time) I restarted the ioc.bat to restart the EPICS.
This is because I had an oppertunisitic time to go to the X end and enable AC power to Beckhoff Motor Controller (see alog in the future with the reason why this needed to be done).
