TITLE: 09/15 Day Shift: 15:00-23:00 UTC (08:00-16:00 PST), all times posted in UTC
STATE of H1: Observing at 112Mpc
INCOMING OPERATOR: TJ
SHIFT SUMMARY:  Took an extra long time to get relocked for reasons that aren't clear.
LOG:

17:23 Lockloss, cause unclear

Initial alignment completes without operator intervention.

Consistently losing lock at ENGAGE_ASC_FOR_FULL_IFO similar to what was noted in aLog 51942.  It seems that near the end of this state, INP1 Y and SRC2 Y are pulled away from 0 (these were most noticeable at least).  Called Keita and he is looking into it and will return my call shortly.  Winds are 20-30 mph during this relocking, so probably not helping.

Tried waiting at PREP_ASC for a few minutes a couple of times with no luck.  About the 6th lock attempt, it finally made it past ENGAGE_ASC, but lost it at INCREASE_POWER as the buildups started to decrease.

Getting alot of SUS saturation verbal warnings (IY, IX, EY, EX, OMC) in ENGAGE_SOFT_LOOPS.

21:45 Observing, just needed Keita's moral support

SHIFT SUMMARY: Just got back to observing. I spent around an hour trying to get DRMI to lock. It would catch for a few seconds, with good power, but then it would drop it. The camera flashes didn't look fantastic so I kept trying to adjust SRM and even SR2 , but improving the camera flashes seemed to make the DRMI aquisition worse. I eventually caved and ran just and SRC alignment. I was able to get a locked DRMI quite quickly after this, but it lost lock immediately after the DRMI steps. Reaquiring again took 10min. Then it seemed to have no issues all the way up. CALCS rounding errors are the only SDF diffs.

Seemed to be a very fast lock loss, ASC didn't respond much.

LSB lift station alarm status

Earlier today I had noticed that the LSB sewage lift station control panel was alarming as if the tank was full (HIGH-HIGH) -> As found, the white lamp on the control panel was illuminated, the audible alarm was beeping, the switch for PUMP 1 = OFF, the switch for PUMP 2 = AUTO, and the PUMP RUNNING lamp was off -> I switched PUMP 2 to HAND and the PUMP RUNNING lamp, then, illuminated green.  I let the pump run for 3 minutes and then switched back to AUTO.  After this, the white lamp remained illuminated, the PUMP RUNNING lamp went off and the audible alarm stopped.  Later, I repeated the AUTO->HAND->AUTO switch cycle exercise only this time the PUMP RUNNING lamp remained on while left in AUTO.  After several minutes, I de-energized the panel via the main local ON/OFF switch.  I had discussed the issue earlier with Bubba.

As is now, the lift station pump(s) will remain off (i.e. the tank won't empty) until Bubba et. al. come in on Monday.

1752 hrs. local -> Leaving site now.

Out of Observing to Damp Violin Mode

Out at 2352 UTC

ETMY mode 2 (505.0794) snuck up on me during the tour. I took the Violin_Damping guardian to Damping_On_Simple and applied the gain that it had previously and it seems to be damping well, but not very fast.
